Our client, a major player in the retail sector, had been using the same format for a considerable time, and was frustrated at how difficult it was to meet file timings. They wanted a new strategy that would improve speed to market and enable them to produce a higher volume of catalogues.
We investigated a range of different formats, searching for a style that would allow us to retain both a similar look and a similar foot plan whilst providing a bulkier feel. We streamlined the production process, giving our client more time to generate files and enhancing their ability to combat their competitor’s offers.
The new format takes half the time to produce than the older version required. We’ve managed to retain the existing look and ensure the same amount of products can feature in the new version. By developing a more efficient process we were able to save the client a significant amount of money, which they in turn used to produce 20% more units, increasing their coverage without increasing expenditure.
